Have you fed your spirit animal recently? Have you taken it on a walk? Do you even know what your spirit animal is doing right now? MINT Gallery is offering a chance for you to get in touch with your spirit animal on Saturday night. (They even provide a definition: "A "spirit" or "power animal" is a representation of a creature that represents one's connection to the world, life, the individual's personality traits, or power." Mine, for example, is Norman
the dog.) The Back Pockets will lead a vision quest, experimental cocktails will be served, and over 50 artists will exhibit work. The opening gets started at 7 pm but the vision quest begins promptly at 10 pm.
Gyun Hur's Spring Hiatus
installation continues at Lenox Mall for the rest of the month. If you haven't been keeping up with the progress on her blog
, you've been missing out. Hur will be meeting with the public and talking about her work from 2-5 pm on Saturday.
