Movies Worth Seeing, Morningside video store gem, is closing

Posted By on Mon, Mar 21, 2011 at 12:05 PM

Movies Worth Seeing, the Virginia-Highland video store that's provided Atlantans with hard-to-find flicks for 25 years, is shutting its doors.

Our dear Curt Holman has more about the closing — and the liquidation sale that started at noon (!) — at Screen Grab.

UPDATE, 5:01 p.m.: Christa at Pecanne Log reminds us via email that anything north of Amsterdam is considered Morningside. It's tricky, what with Alon's claiming VaHi, Lanier Boulevard snaking through both, and all that.
