Shockingly, lots of people were arrested in Savannah on St. Patty's Day

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Every year the City of Savannah graciously opens its doors (the figurative kind) and welcomes thousands of revelers to binge drink and act like a-holes on its quaint historic streets for St Patrick's Day. All they ask is that you don't litter, bring your dog or piss all over the place.

But, that was too much to ask, wasn't it.

Over St. Party's Day weekend, Savanna Police arrested 190 people, 27 of those for disorderly conduct, 13 for seat belt violations and, symbolically, 17 for public urination.

But, really, considering the sheer number of drunk people unleashed on the "Hostess City of the South," is 190 really that many? We asked the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police to put that number into perspective, but they've yet to respond (I'll update the post if/when they do). Probably still too busy cleaning up YOUR mess.
