Stone Mountain will transform into a volcano, a waterfall, an avalanche and other spectacles before the eyes of onlookers, if its new “Mountainvision” laser show lives up its hype. According to a press release, the park is upgrading its Lasershow Spectacular to include a new form of “digital, multidimensional projection: “Mountainvision will be the first time this immersive, unparalleled technology is used in Atlanta and in the Southeast. The production is four to five times the size of an IMAX screen and is taller than the Statue of Liberty. The Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision is scheduled to debut Memorial Day weekend.”
