>> The Syrian government resigned today amid nationwide political unrest that resulted in the deaths of at least 37 people. A Syrian Information Ministry spokeswoman said a new government should be named in a few hours. It's like "American Idol" finals. (CNN)

>> President Obama's speech last night about the Libyan intervention was largely well-received, though he was intentionally vague concerning when our involvement would end. Meanwhile Hillary Clinton is in London today for a 40-nation summit to figure out the no-fly zone and shape what a post-Qaddafi Libya will look like. So glad we're deciding that now. (the Washington Post)

>> The parents of the Libyan woman Eman al-Obeidy, who claimed Qaddafi's forces had raped and tortured her, are standing by their daughter despite government pressure for Eman to change her statement. Al-Obeidy's mother said, "I am proud of her because she has broken the barrier ... that no man can break." If women's rights are a greater part of the post-Qaddafi Libya, I'm in. (CNN)

>> Indiana's state Democrats returned yesterday after walking out five weeks ago over a bill that prevented employees from paying union fees. Republicans have agreed to make little changes like withdrawing the union fee bill. Next time I have a work disagreement, I'm walking out. See you in five weeks suckas! (the New York Times)

>> And finally, Hey birthers, are you listening: Presidential hopeful Donald Trump, who has publicly criticized Obama's legitimacy, presented his "official" birth certificate, except that it doesn't have the Department of Health's seal or the city registrar's signature. Sorry Trump, you're fired! (Politico)
