Strong winds knock down power lines along Charles Allen Drive, crush cars
Strong winds from last night’s fatal storms caused a tree to fall on this car and knock down power lines on the 400 block of Charles Allen Drive, causing a power outage for 300 people in homes near Grady High School.
Power should be back on later this afternoon for most customers, according to a contractor for Georgia Power. For others, he says, it might take a couple of days.
