This week in Tyler Perry: 'South Park' vs. TP

Even the Royal Wedding and death of Osama bin Laden not enough to push Tyler Perry out of news cycle for long. Last night's "South Park" episode "Funnybot" primarily makes fun of the First Annual Comedy Awards. (The gist is that Jimmy's version of the Comedy Awards ends up unleashing Funnybot, a deadly but hilarious robot based on a Dalek from "Doctor Who," NOMAD from "Star Trek" and that interrogation droid from Star Wars.) Tyler Perry receives "The Kathy Griffin Award" for celebrity must likely to show up to accept the award, and then hangs around in Madea drag for the rest of the episode. African-American student Token can't stop himself from laughing at typical Madea-isms ("Oh my Lerd! What are we gonna der?"), until Cartman declares, "Token, stop giving Tyler Perry money or he won't go away!"
