>> After 14 of the 21 political activist leaders were charged with trying to overthrow the Sunni monarchy, with the remaining seven tried in absentia, Bahrain's king has decided that its state of emergency will be lifted on June 1. Who knew: all peace takes is killing protesters! (Al Jazeera)

>> Pakistani private television channel ARY and right-wing newspaper the Nation named two different people as the CIA's supposed station chief in Islamabad, one of the agency's most secretive assignments. A former U.S. official said it was Pakistan's "own little way of retaliating" for feeling "very, very upset and embarrassed" about the raid. Obama's keepin' an eye on you, Pakistan. (the Wall Street Journal)

>> Al-Qaeda leader Huthaifa al-Batawi, who was detained in October for a massacre at an Iraqi church, led an uprising at a Baghdad prison this weekend that killed 17, including a top counter-terrorism official and six security officers. Police eventually killed al-Batawi and the other 10 escaping inmates. Selfish al-Batawi just made it so much worse for the remaining inmates. (the New York Times)

>> An African-American man in Louisiana charged with murder is seeking to overturn his conviction because the Confederate flag, supposedly proof of discrimination, flies in front of the courthouse and 11 of the 12 jury members were white. Louisiana says the flag "is simply a neutral memorial to soldiers," you know, like a swastika. (the Wall Street Journal)

>> And finally: Having been missing for seven weeks after their van got stuck in the mud in a national forest, Rita Chretien was found alive by hunters on Friday, though her husband's whereabouts are still unknown. The woman had survived on trail mix and snow, better known as the Lindsay Lohan diet. (AP)
