The Governator
>> Queen Elizabeth arrived in Dublin this morning for a historic visit symbolizing the final reconciliation between Ireland and Britain. It's the first time a reigning British monarch has visited the country since the Irish War of Independence when her grandfather last visited in 1911. Still, tensions are high as a pipe bomb was found (and dismantled) on a bus routed for the capital. Pssh. As if the Queen would ride a bus. (the New York Times)

>> Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head of the International Monetary Fund, was arrested on Saturday night and held without bail for attempted rape of a New York City hotel maid. The 62-year-old French politician was a likely candidate for the 2012 presidential election. John Lipsky, a former U.S. Treasury executive, has been named as IMF's managing director. French talking heads on both sides have remained largely quiet about the charges—after all, sexual chauvinism is a French politician's right. (NY Daily News, the New York Times)

>> Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will release an official apology on behalf of his family for "any offense caused to the people" of Egypt in a plea for amnesty. Everyone likes a comeback. (Al Arabiya)

>> Authorities are trying to divert the flooding on the Mississippi River from New Orleans, but even with precautions, the flooding will result in billions of dollars in damage and lost business. Thirteen percent of the nation's energy sources come from the affected area of Louisiana. Will New Orleans ever catch a break? (CBS))

>> And finally: After announcing his separation from wife Maria Shriver last week, Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted to fathering a baby with a longtime household staff member a decade ago. The woman recently retired after working for the family for 20 years, and Schwarzenegger took financial responsibility for the child. Shriver previously came to Schwarzenegger's defense back in 2003 when he was accused of groping women. Hasta la vista, baby. (LA Times)
