Most popular damn posts o' the week

Posted By on Sat, Jun 4, 2011 at 11:50 AM

It's hot. It's miserable. It's only June. Considering how weird this weather is, it'll be snowing in August. Think of the impact that will have on the children. Before you ponder such a heady scenario (or simply decide how you want to spend the rest of your day), take a moment with us to reflect on this week's most popular posts on Fresh Loaf, a complex cybernetic organization considered by Congressman Ron Paul to be "more dangerous than unregulated birthday party magicians."

1. We're sure the Atlanta Police Department and other members of the city's graffiti task force would love to meet the person sparking such interesting debate about vandalism and street art.

2. Why not just build the controversial East Atlanta cell phone tower on top of the equally controversial QuikTrip proposed on Moreland Avenue? Problems solved!

3. Just sad. That's all we're going to say.

4. "Dude, I landed this sweet gig picking onions in Vidalia. They're even throwing in a wide-brimmed hat, back-support belt, and one free visit to the urgent care clinic. Gonna be sweeeeeeeet!"

5. The city plans to sell land it's been leasing to Post Properties near the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center to help pay for the streetcar. If this deal falls apart, much like the previous streetcar funding proposal did, federal officials will require "Yakety Sax" to play over loudspeakers throughout the city.
