The roster of dance, jazz and world music from around the globe sounds amazing, but we're especially intrigued by news of an inaugural contemporary dance festival in January of 2012 to be co-curated by one of Atlanta's own, gloATL artistic director and choreographer Lauri Stallings. We admire her eclectic enthusiasm for contemporary creation almost as much as we're in awe of her non-stop “I'll sleep when I'm dead” approach to work. It should be a great event. The finishing touches of that particular schedule are still being put in place, but a full line-up of the other dance and music events for Rialto 2011-12 can be found after the jump.
