Morning Newsdome: Internet overlords Google could be hit with antitrust suit

Anna Nicole Smith
>> Federal investigators are launching a civil probe into whether Google violated antitrust laws by "unfairly [steering] users to the company's own growing network." The suit would be as significant as the Microsoft antitrust probe in the '90s, and some believe Microsoft is behind the complaints. No matter how many accusations they make, no one will ever use Bing. (CNN)

>> LulzSec released hundreds of personal e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, home addresses and training manuals from Arizona law-enforcement officers in response to the state's controversial anti-immigration law. "Every week we plan on releasing more classified documents ... to purposefully sabotage their efforts to terrorize communities fighting an unjust 'war on drugs,'" said their leader. (TechCrunch)

>> President Obama told an LGBT dinner in New York last night, "There will be times where things won't be moving as fast as people would like" concerning gay marriage. He also added in Gaga fashion, "I believed that discriminating against people was wrong. I had no choice, I was born that way." So be patient about marriage equality, but donate $30,000 to his campaign right now. (NY Mag)

>> Osama bin Laden's courier's phone records show that he was in communication with Harakat-ul-Mujahedeen, "a militant group that is a longtime asset of Pakistan’s intelligence agency." What! Are you telling me Pakistan might have known bin Laden's whereabouts and sheltered him! Get out of Islamabad! (the New York Times)

>> And finally: Though Anna Nicole Smith died in 2007, the battle over her late husband's $1.6 billion estate was finally put to rest by the Supreme Court today. In a 5-4 decision, the estate will go entirely to his heirs. The principal heir Pierce Marshall who long fought Anna is also now dead. Mo money mo problems. (Bloomberg)
