Comedy Gold takes it 'full spectrum' with Carl Labove, Rory Scovel and Tom Segura

Rory Scovel
If you haven't yet caught a Comedy Gold-produced stand-up show, then you're missing out on some of the best up-and-coming alternative comics performing in a non-club setting with absolutely NO drink minimum. Not a typo, swear - no drink minimum. Host/organizer Gilbert Lawand prides himself on bringing Atlanta comedy lovers a fresh stand-up experience. But hey, don't kick yourself if you didn't see some of the awesome past gigs featuring hysterical acts like Kyle Kinane, Brendan Walsh or Sean Patton. Comedy Gold's giving you a chance to redeem yourself Thurs., July 14.

Next Thursday, CG presents three - you heard me - three headliners: the Legendary Carl Labove (The Outlaws of Comedy), the ridiculously funny Tom Segura, and rising star Rory Scovel, at the renovated, beautiful main room in the Buckhead Theatre.

A lil sampling of the jokesters after the jump.

Rory Scovel explains why they can't all be abortion jokes.

Tom Segura doesn't have many "little People" as fans.

Carl Labove has to fake it in church.

And if you didn't catch the double booked Scovel on last week's Conan O'Brien, it was nothing short of side splitting.

Comedy Gold Presents "Full Spectrum Comedy," Thurs., July 14, 8 p.m. $15. Buckhead Theatre, 3110 Roswell Road. 404-843-2825. www.ticketmaster.com.
