Casablanca, the romantic drama in which we fell in love with the line “Here’s looking at you, kid,” will screen at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on Friday, July 15. Considering the three-time Oscar-winning film premiered in 1942, the chance to see it in a theater setting is something most of us haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing — but that’s not the best part.

While people may have different opinions on why this love story is so epic, it’s safe to assume the majority of Casablanca lovers feel the way they do because of the music. To allow the audience to truly enjoy the film in an unprecedented way, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will perform the memorable score live along with the film, while Turner Classic Movies’ 0/Ben-Mankiewicz-TCM-Daytime-Host.html hosts this unique event. I can’t be alone when I say I never wanted a couple to end up together as much as I did Ilsa and Rick. Come watch it all fall apart again.

$12-$35. 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 15. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, 2200 Encore Parkway, Alpharetta. 404-733-5010.
