Herman Cain: Communities have the right to ban mosques

Eat it, other GOP presidential candidates. Herman Cain found America's next zoning dispute fueled by a fear of Muslims and you didn't!

Cain told reporters last week in Murfreesboro, Tenn., that the community had a right to block a proposed mosque because... well, his position doesn't make much sense. (Apparently it's not "an innocent mosque." Creeping Shariah law is also in the mix.) Here's Cain, who's already said he wouldn't appoint any Islamic terrorists to his administration, explaining himself on Fox News Sunday (skip to 5:40 for his mosque comments):
