It's Labor Day weekend. You're either going out of town (like me) or you're dressing like a sexy Romulan and hanging out at Trader Vic's all weekend hoping someone slips you William Shatner's room number (OK, fine, like me). Point is, you're busy.
OF COURSE, this is when Zoo Atlanta's new baby tiger cubs decide to finally show their little, stripey faces. From a press release:
The wait is over! The first Sumatran tiger cubs born at Zoo Atlanta in more than a decade are on the prowl today, Sohni and Sanjiv are exploring their exhibit with their mother Chelsea.
Previously only visible via webcam, the 8-week-old cubs are investigating their lush outdoor habitat, which features three different viewing opportunities for visitors in the new Complex Carnivores and adjacent Trader’s Alley. Guests may be treated to sightings as the siblings enjoy their first adventures on public view.
LOOK AT THEM:
All I want is to pick one up in each hand, and do this to them ...
This is why we can't have nice things.
Stop being so racist and sexist, no-hyphens.
