Weekend Arts Agenda: BurnAway fundraiser

BurnAway raises funds with a massive party, openings proliferate on the Westside, and more. Details after the jump.


Jerry Siegel, Blonde and Jewels

Barbara Archer Gallery exhibits two new bodies of work, one of which is in conjunction with Atlanta Celebrates Photography. Geraldine features photographs Atlanta-based photographer Jerru Siegal's portrait series of a single woman and Life During Wartime features collage-based work by Melissa Stern. The opening reception gets started at 7 pm. More details at Barbara Archer.


Michael M. Koehler exhibits at Get This!

The Westside Arts District will be packed with new exhibitions for the Saturday stroll. Check out the lineup of artist talks and tours at Get This!, Saltworks, Kiang, {Poem 88}, and other galleries in the area at WAD.

MINT Gallery pulls together supra +natura, a group show featuring Truett Dietz, Mike Germon, Jennifer Morris, and others. The show includes "six mini-installations that directly explore or allude to the supernatural in the most open sense of the term." More details at MINT.

BurnAway's second annual fundraiser sounds pretty out of control. The lineup of artists, the performances, the music: we're just going to stop ourselves before we go on and on about how you need to be there.
