Newsdome: Does Michele Bachmann know that Libya is in Africa?

Michele Bachmann
>> The twists keep coming at the GOP presidential debates. At the eighth debate in Las Vegas last night, frontrunner Herman Cain was the big loser, incapable of answering questions about foreign policy like whether he would exchange an American for Guantanamo Bay prisoners. Worst still, Santorum is sticking around. (the Christian Science Monitor)

>> Terror Alert! Five foreign nationals, allegedly of French-Moroccan descent, are in custody after an attempted break-in at a San Antonio courthouse. Now the FBI needs to figure out how this is connected to Mexican drug lords and Iran. (Fox News)

>> Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who was released yesterday after being held captive by Hamas for five years, gave an interview to Egyptian television. Egypt helped broker the deal to swap Shalit for over a thousand Palestinian prisoners. The interviewer, however, noticed that Shalit "seemed extremely tired ... very difficult to concentrate." Could it be that there was masked Hamas gunmen behind Shalit and the interviewer asked questions like "Will you help campaign for [5,000 Palestinian prisoner's] release?" (AP)

>> A German satellite, ROSAT, has a 1-in-2,000 chance of landing on someone when it crashes to Earth next week. What does the lucky person win? (Fox News)

>> And finally, take it away Michele Bachmann: "The president, he put us in Libya. He is now putting us in Africa. We already were stretched too thin, and he put our special operations forces in Africa." Doesn't Bachmann know Libya is in Africa? Duh, she can see Africa from her house! (Huffington Post)
