Herman Cain reportedly 'reassessing' candidacy

Posted by Thomas Wheatley on Tue, Nov 29, 2011 at 11:57 AM

National Review Online has the details about Cain's decision, which the GOP presidential candidate reportedly told senior campaign staffers this morning during a conference call. ABC's Jonathan Karl says Mark Block, Cain's campaign manager, has confirmed the site's report.

Credit goes to last night's getting-to-know-you piece scathing interview by Fox 5's Dale Russell with a metro Atlanta woman who claims she had an on-again, off-again affair with the former pizza mogul and talk radio host.

For Cain's donors, as the saying goes - A Fool and his money are easily parted.

ya, can we adopt some strange political system where people who endorse candidates who don't make it to the general election lose their vote for that cycle?

Something like march madness. America would love it.

Hey just remember its not Cain's fault. Its not because of the way he attacked the accusers. Its not because his 9-9-9 plan while sounding catchy was unrealistic. Its not because he didn't want to put the time and work into learning about foreign policy. Its because of the damn librul media!!!

He still has the male chauvinist pig vote.

He's got a call into Clinton for advice. "They love you, how does that work.?"

He's toast. It doesn't matter that his accusers are a bunch of flakes. This latest has a successful harassment claim under her belt, financial problems, and she raises the Cain Bain stakes with a protective order against her for stalking. Not that there's anything wrong with that. He's toast.

Oh Herman, we hardly knew ye.

WHY WON'T TURNER TALK AND TELL THE TRUTH: AJC interview canceled!? This is so funny. Mayor is falling as fast as Kim K! So sad "they" (Turner/Reed) blame it on a rank-and-file officer. Loser-ville Mayor Reed! Loser-ville 2013!

I'm not really sure how Cain made it as far as he did...actually, nevermind, I am...I'm just sad about it.

Oy this woman is not claiming sexual harrassment.

And Lin Wood's response? Herman Cain basically admitted to having a "relationship" with this woman for 13 years.

Had they not done the defense of he's a loyal husband and wouldn't make sexual advances on women then he could have survived this. Well ok they probably shouldn't have had Cain himself attacking the accusers and then have him attack this woman - that didn't help him.

Bottom line the woman's not complaining, she was contacted by media and wisely wanted to get the story out on her terms. Its relevance to the harassment case is through Cain's initial defense and in the pattern of Cain attacking these women.

Time for Newt! Wonder who will be next.

Hermanator denies the relationship was sexual. Daily Show had a great bit with Herman trying but not gettin' any for years.

I think ALL the claims are bogus..to the great amusement of my friends.

Remember the good ol' days of Slick Willie skating over much worse with even the uber feminists having his back? Poor Herman, if he was only a purveyor of Southern fried triple talk who played for the other team.

Yea right this "acquaintance" was like a sister to him. Or a client for his "employment" program.

Clinton - they impeached Clinton for lieing about a blow job, which any married man should do!

But yes Clinton got elected after everyone knew he was a skank. But he wasn't preaching morality and the bible at us. Besides that's the election when all the conservatives abandoned the last decent Republican President, George Sr. Cain's problem is there are so many other wonderful choices to choose from in the Republican Primary ....... hahahaha..... sorry, hold on I'm making myself laugh to hard!

Clinton was impeached for perjury. You have to be careful where you lie.
