A creative downtown Atlanta couple sick of seeing their neighborhood littered with teeny tiny Tanqueray bottles decided to collect the plastic containers, wash 'em, and put them to good use. The result: A Christmas wreath, which they've hung on their door. Brilliant.

So glad I was able to share this! As a Downtowner I feel I now need to step it up, maybe make Christmas tree ornaments out of Colt 45 cans.
I've participated in a couple of neighborhood cleanups downtown and these little bottles are definitely one of the most plentiful (but by no means the most disgusting) items found on the streets and in plazas.
I'm going to call this A.R.T. (Adaptive Reuse of Tanqueray)
an ATL carol
O Tangueray, O Tangueray
How lovely are your martinis
Your bottles green haunt the vagrants' minds,
and in the gutter a second time...
O Tangueray, O Tangueray
how lovely is your juniper.
O Tangueray, O Tangueray,
How lovely are thy vessels.
Not only when hot summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Tangueray, O Tangueray,
We love to hold you o so near!
O Tangueray, O Tangueray,
With your bottles green and bright
Won't u be my drunk tonight!!

Sure wish I was crafty, as there's a surplus of bar brand vodka mini bottles along DeFoor Ave. I suspect employee theft... upon exiting an establishment late at night.
Well, it is certainly more attractive that a door swag made of bent needles, crumpled foil and old condoms.
