German women love Herman Cain
They just don’t know it yet
It’s no secret that Herman Cain loves women (amiriiiiiite?), but yesterday, he launched a new website to prove the ladies love him right back.
Women for Cain — an “online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President” — is a place where red-blooded ‘merican women can submit testimonials to prove that hating Obama doesn’t make them racist. Like Stefani Smirnes of Dunwoody, Ga., who writes:
“Mr. Cain, To me you are the embodiment of the prayers of every faithful believing slave who turned to ALMIGHTY GOD for deliverance from slavery and inequality. You are the embodiment of Martin Luther King Jr. ‘I have a dream’ speech. You are the only hope I have for a future in America!Be strong and of good courage Mr. Cain, Our God Reigns! ”
Wowee. Anyway, a funny thing about the site that was pointed out by TPM is that the photo of the multicultural women, smiling with their thumbs erect, is a stock image taken by Robert Kneschke, a photographer in Cologne, Germany. So, yeah, the women are probably German, too.
In other news, Cain is expected to make a major announcement about his candidacy tomorrow from his new Atlanta campaign headquarters, but is refusing to elaborate. I like Tweeter-extraordinaire Andisheh Nouraee’s guesses ...
