On Monday December 12, movie-lovers celebrate Atlanta's best holiday traditions at the Fox Theatre: "Larry, Carols, and Mo!" a trifecta of holiday cheer that features Fox Theatre organist-in-residence Larry-Douglas Embury playing sing-a-long Christmas Carols on the Mighty Mo organ, the massive Möller organ that emerges on a platform from stage right.
The festivities, emcee'd by local television and radio personality Tom Sullivan, also include special guests like a bell choir (any "New Girl" fans in the house?), a girls choir, a snowstorm on Peachtree and a visit by you-know-who, are a prelude to the main event: a screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol.
In the wake of the Jason Segel/Amy Adams starring Muppets revival, a bona-fide hit with a cumulative Domestic Total of $65,837,000 and counting (or is it a Communist Plot?), this is a terrific time to revisit what is arguably one of the Muppets' most complete films.

Anchored by a solid lead performance from Michael Caine, The Muppet Christmas Carol is the first Muppet feature made after the death of Jim Henson, and the first Muppet film adapted from outside source material, in this case Charles Dickens, played in the film by The Great Gonzo.
To cap it all off, the event it FREE! Attendees are invited to bring unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots, or food for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
