Long-time Atlanta street and gallery artist Alex Brewer, better known as Hense, is at work on an Arizona Avenue mural commissioned by the Office of Cultural Affairs. The two walls, which run under the MARTA and CSX lines, are rather massive (something like 20 x 200 feet) canvases for the abstract style that Hense has been working in as of late.

CL caught up with Brewer awhile back and he mentioned that, growing up in Candler Park, he’d admired these specific walls for a long time. Brewer is working with two other artists, Stuart Golly and Taylor Means, to complete the work. He was kind enough to pass along a few images of the work in progress recently. Check them out after the jump.
