Thanks to everyone who submitted photos to our Embarrassing Pictures with Santa contest. More specifically, thanks for not submitting your photos to some lame-dick, imitation contest (we kid ... or do we?).
It was VERY easy to pick a winner, because the picture (pictures, actually) she sent are VERY hilarious, and there's something extra funny about everyone having a laugh at a terrified child's expense. Here's a side-by-side comparison of CL reader Lori Federico's daughter's '10 and '11 pictures with Santa. I'm already looking forward to Christmas '12! This Santa probably is not at all.

Honorable mentions after the jump ...
These kids are being way too cool about corporate shill santa in his shitty wicker fan chair ...

Misunderstood the assignment ...

Sorry, kid, your wrists belong to Mr. Claus now. And very cool half-zipped snowsuits. Kinda like wearing overalls with the straps down ...

Lori won tickets to see "The Rocky Horror Show" at Fabrefaction Theatre this weekend! Congrats! Definitely consider getting a sitter.

Back when I was a kid, your mom didn't take your one-piece snowsuit off (unless it was on fire). They were too difficult to put back on! So, if you were going to a store or somewhere where you might get overheated, you got zipped down to the waist, so it wouldn't fall down, and kept it on. Keep in mind.....when you had three or six kids tagging along, you needed to make your life as easy as possible in any way you could. (Oh, the reason they were so hard to take off and put back on was because you were wearing boots with shoes under them!)
