As new tenants of Atlantic Station, we at Creative Loafing are excited at the prospect of new neighbors, which may soon include The Relapse Theatre, home of such improv shows as Richard Kickers and Automatic Improv, as well as stand-up concerts by the likes of Doug Stanhope. Bob Wood, owner and artistic director of the midtown playhouse, has signed a lease for the Geisha House restaurant's former space. "Coming Soon signs will be going up this coming week, and whenever I can get through the City of Atlanta's Bureau of Buildings. we will start to do shows there," says Wood, who plans to decide by the end of the year whether to keep both theaters running.

In the interest of full disclosure, I should point out that I mock movies about once a month at Cineprov, based at the Relapse Theatre. If the playhouse, my workplace and the Atlantic Station movie theater all end up sharing the same complex, I might just start wearing slippers all day.
