Our new Christmas Carol: Sympathy for the Kringle

DevilSanta.jpg
"Sympathy for the Kringle"
By Mick Jangle and Wreath Richards

Please allow me to introduce myself,
I'm a saint who makes a list
I've been around for a long, long year
Delivered many a child's yuletide gift

I was around when Rudolph
Had his moment of doubt and fright
Made damn sure that with his nose
He'd guide my sled at night.

Pleased to meet you, even when you're not awake
But what's puzzlin' me is if you're good for goodness' sake

I hung around the North Pole
where the weather never thaws
Built my own toy factory
Away from all elf labor laws

Crimson velvet trimmed with white
Covers up my well-fed girth
And you'll never figure how my sack
Can carry all the toys on Earth

Pleased to meet you, even when you're not awake
But what's puzzlin' me is if you're good for goodness' sake

Just as chimneys prove no obstacle (Ho ho!)
And I make all the reindeer fly (Ho ho!)
As long as you've not been naughty (Ho ho!)
I can be a generous guy (Ho ho!)
On Christmas Eve put out milk with cookies in a bowl (Ho ho!)
And always be completely nice or I'll fill you socks with coal! (Ho ho!)

Pleased to meet you, even when you're not awake (Ho ho!)
But what's puzzlin' me is if you're good for goodness' sake (Ho ho!)

Note
: I seem to do something like this every year. "Sympathy for the Kringle" was inspired by a conversation with Talking With Tim.
