A Cappella Books moves from Little Five Points

Posted By on Tue, Jan 3, 2012 at 1:17 PM

Long-standing Atlanta champions of the printed word, A Cappella Books is moving out of their current digs in Little Five Points and taking up residence off Dekalb Ave. We're bummed to think that picking up a coffee at Aurora and browsing the shelves won't be a possibility in the future, but as other local institutions face the chopping block, we're happy to hear that they're keeping the door open.

From the email announcing the move:

We're thrilled to continue what we've been doing for 22+ years, in more appropriate digs: away from the constant hustle, a retreat to a quieter (& roomier) space to enjoy the unique charms that—no matter what new technology might come along—books will always offer to folks like you.

Local trivia: the new A Cappella Books location, 208 Haralson Ave., was previously home to the offices of local record label Dust-to-Digital. They plan to be open in the new location by the first week of February. Until then, you can help lighten the load by taking part in their current sale, with everything in the store at least 25% off.
