Randomly Noted Beware MARTA's masked marauder

Not being robbed on a MARTA train, well, that's as easy as being aware of your surroundings. Like, if you see a person dressed in a burglar costume, put down the goddamn newspaper (unless it's CL), and mind your iPhone. And, actually, mind your private parts while your at it.

You are WAY more likely to be robbed on the streets of Atlanta than on MARTA.
Also put your damn phone away when you are on the train or walking down the street. So many people make such easy targets.

according to this picture, frequently passing gas looks like a promising theft deterrent.
BTW, not sure if I'm stating the obvious, I think somebody drew that mask on the guy. I would have noticed it.
One plus to riding MARTA is having time to analyze how folks will enhance people's appearances on ads.

an original? I stand corrected. I guess they were trying to make the point that some folks are blind to obvious risks ... leaving laptops at the coffee shop and going to the bathroom.... and I missed the point. Admittedly not the first time.
A white person stealing from a black person is seen as ridiculous, but a black person stealing from a white person would have definitely been labeled as racist.
Maybe they could have used actors who were the same race? Or maybe some kids in a sandbox...
