Maron records WTF in and out of the garage

Part of the image of Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast is that he records it in a garage studio at his home nicknamed "The Cat Ranch." Maron borrows just a smidgen of the iconography of start-up businesses launching entrepreneurship from their carports. At times Maron makes his studio sound like it has a "Hoarders" level of clutter, but this clip, with Nick Kroll makes it look bright and comfy:

Occasionally Maron records "WTF" outside the garage in front of live audiences. Jeff Garlin made a point of teasing Maron on this appearance. You can find clips from some of these at the WTFPodChannel on Youtube, including this bit of banter with the perpetually hilarious Maria Bamford:

My cover story on "WTF" goes up on Thursday, the same day Maron begins a Jan. 19-22 engagement at the Laughing Skull Lounge.
