Meet the Georgia man who wants Obama to prove his citizenship in court

Posted by Thomas Wheatley on Mon, Jan 23, 2012 at 10:12 AM

You'd think it wouldn't be so hard, ya know? All Cedartown resident David Farrar wants is for President Barack Obama to take a few hours out of his schedule, visit Georgia, and prove his citizenship. Then the president can appear on the 2012 ballot. No big deal. 11 Alive's Duffie Dixon sat down with Farrar:

There's some debate over whether the president would actually have to appear in court to answer the complaint and whether the judge has any jurisdiction in the matter. We're not lawyers so we'll let some of the more legal-minded readers fill us in on the details.

Well its not just politicians that we have to thank for being embarrassed for Georgia about. In other states these frivolous and frankly insane lawsuits are rejected by the courts. But oh my this judge Michael Malihi did not quash the subpoena. http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/geo… .

Please lets all go here and PRAY for Judge Michael Malihi http://radiopatriot.wordpress.com/tag/judg…

If anyone wants to be scared do a google search for Judge Michael Malihi .... wow the websites that are out there. What are these people drinking? The movie 2012 was on tv this weekend. I'm starting to think perhaps all that stuff is gonna happen this year.

though interesting Judge Malihi did a ruling for environmentalists http://www.sustainablecoast.org/charbour30… . Is he a liberal playing with the birthers? Doubt it.

Someone on Peachbuzz pointed out that he merely refused a to quash the subpoena, and asked for a revised document from the President's attorneys. http://www.peachpundit.com/2012/01/20/ajc-… Perhaps this story has not played out fully, though all the birther and Orly taitz websites are burning the bandwidth on this.

I feel subpoenaing David Farrar for him to prove in court that he's not an A-hole.

Let's just call the birthers for what they are - full-on racists who do not have the balls to admit it and/or put on the white robe.

Our president has all ready proved he is a United States citizen. It is time to let it go. This is so dumb to still contest his birthplace. Just move on

I can't believe people are still obsessing over this. Those non believers out there get over it, he's an American. Geez! If he's getting this much crap for his citizenship, imagine if the gruff the first Hispanic president will get.

At least the guy in that news story basically admits he has an OCD disorder. Granted not an excuse for wasting resources.

What gets me is this other guy, Carl Swenson of Clayton County, whose a party to the suit basically saying he has a "Responsibility" Geez. Channel 11 interviewed him http://bcove.me/q7ituthg Carl you have a Responsibility to live in reality, though I guess I should thank you for putting a face on many in the Tea Party movement.

Oh the other thing that gets me is why the neither channel asked either person ... "What medications are you taking?"
