Cee Lo stole the Super Bowl Halftime show, and according to CL Music Editor Rodney Carmichael, it's "the closest Atlanta will ever get to winning the Super Bowl."
Will the Super Bowl ever come to Atlanta again? Got an extra $700 million to spare?
It's good to be Arthur Ferdinand: Fulton County's tax commissioner is the state's highest-paid elected official, but that might soon change.

I'm really bummed Cee-lo couldn't bust into a mashup of Like a prayer with Closet Freak— and spread the wings of that earth wind and fire psychedelic gospel getup he wore for it.
Jeebus that halftime show was awful. Normally, Cee-Lo could stop an apocalypse and strew rainbows about but not even he could help that monstrosity.
Lousy batch of commercials, too. I thought Squint was too smart to buy that "Detroit's coming back" crap, but there he was.
On the upside...great game. Eli's coming, hide your heart girl....
It was a great game. Yea Clint didn't like the auto bailouts, but hey its time to move and work to keep the recovery moving (stop congress from mucking up the second half) and thank our lucky stars they did the bailouts and thus avoided the great depression from the loss of jobs and pension liabilities that would have followed a shut down GM and Chrysler that would have then shut down Ford due to all the suppliers going out of business. Guess I thought Clint was a Ford man like me after Gran Torino!
I really liked the half time show. Something about Nicki Minaj I really like, LMAFO and Cee Lo were great and that ending scene of Madonna singing Like a Prayer was great. In fact the visuals and music of her whole set were really great.
The visuals I thought were amazing! I'd love to know how they seemed to turn the physical field into a giant video screen. If only lip synching was just thrown out of the picture; but we all saw what happened with the Black Eyed Peas last year when they actually sang, and poor Slash couldn't undue their off key damage. A double edged sword there indeed.
