Busted Chief Pennington's wife busted for DUI

Rene Pennington, wife of former Atlanta Police Chief Richard "Perception of Crime" Pennington, was arrested for DUI on Saturday morning according to WSBTV.
Apparently, police noticed a vehicle "driving on a rim" in the vicinity of Peachtree and Pine streets at around 2 a.m. Pennington was "arrested after a series of field sobriety tests" and was booked into the Atlanta City Jail.

DUI is uncool but lets not get too out of hand here. Half the people in government are stoned out of their minds on our dime 90% of the time anyway. Give the lady some help and get out of her business.

Um, right. Got some statistics to back that up? Or even a vaguely credible anecdote? "Someone who watches a lot of Fox News" and "my [mother, aunt, crazy neighbor, etc] said" don't count as credible sources, FYI.
Not to mention - Ms. Perception-Of-Crime wasn't working for government at the time of her arrest (if she ever did) as far as anyone knows.

What rock have you just crawled out from under? City government and the Metro Atlanta Chamber have been best buddies and inseparable for decades. One enables the other.
Government employees are under achievers who could not cut it in the private sector. They are not producers. They are leaches. Politicians in government are either complete pathological liars or criminals in about 95% of cases. Government and its minions just plain suck. Government employees are just a higher form or welfare entitlement creature.
