W-w-wait ... does Herman Cain think he's above 'Dancing With the Stars?'

WALKING CAIN: Herman turns down his shot to really make a difference in the world through dance.

AJC blogger Jim Galloway broke the bad news earlier today: Pizzatician Herman Cain will not appear on the upcoming season of 'Dancing With the Stars."

From Political Insider:

A spokeswoman for Herman Cain confirmed this morning that the former GOP presidential candidate was approached by ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” to appear on this season’s competition.

But Cain nixed the idea. “He can’t dance in an eight-count. He can only dance in a nine-count,” said Lisa Reichert, Cain’s executive assistant.

Reichert, who moonlights as a stand-up comedian (no, not really), is referring to the 9-9-9 plan her boss hasn't hushed up about, even though he's no longer running for president. You know why? He's not a politician — he's an entertainer.

I mean, you've seen this shucky-ducky shit. It's awesome ...

Anyway, the guy's gotten pretty used to singing and dancing for a crowd. All ABC asked was that he wear a sparkly vest and dance shoes whilst doing it.

Herman is the man. He can dance. He can sing. Obviously this is not a win on the money side. You have to remember Herman is a businessman and he evaluates these things and says no to stuff thats stupid.

Herman is and always will be the man. Herman Cain. Shut and listen to him. THen do what he says. God will love you for it.

I like the guy a lot. He has the gift of gab and his stuff with Colbert is really, really, really funny. I knew he had no real shot but it was fun. I think he could have outlasted the bimbo attacks a la Slick Willy but his wife must have said, "That's it...it's over...get your ass home!"

Don't be a stranger Hermanator!

cain isn't a c-lister like bristol palin. he can at least work the talk circuit like her mother. he's still a couple years out from cashing in the rest of his political chips on novelty television, if the trajectory of GOP also-ran burnouts holds true

Herman is a great guy. I for one am not buying in on this smear campaign. Let those of us who are pure come out and show ourselves as better than Herman. That will be a pretty slim crowd by my estimation.

Say what you want Herman is a man who has produced revenue for businesses and is from a good family. He worked his way up and he has to get the proper credit for that. Everybody screws up somewhere. This guy is head and shoulders above the rest of the GOP field and frankly a legitimate black American that we should be proud of. He's not whining about the man and all that garbage. He's not suing some company for discrimination. He just gets the job done and gets rich and now everybody wants to tear him down.

Well America is the loser in this case. Herman should be the next President.

I really do like Herman Cain— I feel like he's one of the only ones that was in the Republican field who isn't tied to the establishment and was willing to try new ideas and work with those across the aisle.

He does have some good ideas and I think he's in a good position to run for Congress. Most people generally have a good view of the guy. I know a lot of y'all both writing for and fellow readers of CL are such staunch Democrats that any one bearing the name Republican is an automatic turnoff. Give the guy a chance.

Oh, and Shucky ducky mama!

[How can you NOT like someone that says that?]

I'm not allergic to his Republicanism, I'm allergic to his idiocy.
