
Here's the one constant in just about every Whitney Houston obit/tribute/gossipy thing published since she passed: "Being Bobby Brown," the Atlanta-based Bravo reality show that exposed Bobby and Whitney in all their dysfunctional glory, was not the pop diva's brightest moment. In a sense, I guess it's good that the show is as roundly panned in her passing as it was when she was alive.
But could it be that there was also something oddly redeeming about the highly-rated show that people are either too scared or too cultured to admit in hindsight? Mmm, yes and no.
