ATLwood: Robert De Niro Doesn't Play Hunger Games

Star Sightings:

Robert De Niro, staying in Buckhead during filming for the Killing Season, has kept a low profile (unlike co-star John Travolta who readers of this column will know has been everywhere around Atlanta lately). He and his wife have "discreetly" dined quite a few times at the St. Regis' new restaurant Astor Court, and is apparently a very big tipper.

— A few of the Hunger Games' stars visited Lenox this week, (gallery) including Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Liam Hemsworth (brother of Chris Hemsworth a.k.a. Thor a.k.a. brother of Loki a.k.a. Tom Hiddleston, who is a beautiful man). *Ahem* and according to @AJCbuzz, the crowd was pretty excited: "These little girls can scream. It's like they're part bat."

Current Filming News:

Trouble With The Curve, starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, and Justin Timberlake, has been filming at Luther Williams Field and Cheers Restaurant in Macon. They've also bounced around and filmed in Midtown on Juniper this week, as well as Atlanta's Exhale Gym.

— Meanwhile, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" started filming Monday in Buckhead (maybe this is who De Niro is hiding from?)

— Also, new "Walking Dead" location pictures are up!

Upcoming Filming:

— "Breaking Bad's" Giancarlo Esposito (a.k.a. Gus Fring. No connection to Tom Hiddleston) will be filming the NBC pilot "Revolution" in Atlanta, a projected helmed by Jon Favrau and JJ Abrams (I'm liking everything I'm reading here).

Idris Elba (a.k.a. Luther from "Luther" and Stringer Bell from "The Wire") has signed on to co-star in No Good Deed. As Omar from "The Wire" might say, "oh indeed."

— "Royal Pains," which typically films in the Hamptons, will be using the Georgia locations of St. Marys and Jekyll Island as stand-ins for part of this month. They are also looking for extras, so check below for casting call information!

— Word is that the TBS Show "Trends with Benefits" will be filming at Sky Zone in March.

Casting Calls:

— The USA Network’s show “Royal Pains” has casting call for extras needed in St. Marys and Jekyll Island.

— "Necessary Roughness" is looking for experienced roller skaters, ages 21-35. Send pics and details to rough2atl@gmail.com.

— "Are you single and looking for love? Think you have what it takes to compete for love? Casting Directors will be holding an open casting call for Oxygen's "Love Games" in Atlanta on Saturday, March 17th 10:00am — 4:00pm at the Publik Draft House.

Parting Shot:

— ATL stunt lady Jwaundace Candece shows off a picture of the local stunt team for Madea's Witness Protection.
