Celebrate Pi Day with Aronofsky's 'Pi'

Today, March 14, is Pi Day, which commemorates the mathematical constant pi, also represented by 3.14. (Sticklers prefer to wait for "Real Pi Day" on March 14th, 2015 at 9:26:53 a.m., since those digits represent the first 10 digits of pi, 3.141592653.) Anyway, if Bill Murray's Groundhog Day can receive perennial screenings on Feb. 2, March 14 should feature some kind of broadcast or showcase of Darren Aronofsky's Pi. The first film from the director of Requiem for a Dream and The Fighter, the low-budget thriller involving mathematical obsession and Jewish mysticism. It's available on Netflix Watch Instantly, so you can watch it today while sitting down for a nice slice of you-know-what.
