Transportation tax boosters' first ad is heavy on math

Posted By on Fri, Mar 16, 2012 at 10:39 AM

Starting today, this TV ad about metro Atlanta families wasting their lives in traffic, passing out face-first in their microwave dinners, and then waking up to repeat the madness, will start appearing on idiot boxes across the region. The 30-second spot aimed at "educating" metro Atlanta voters about the July referendum to fund new roads and transit was unveiled yesterday by Transform Metro Atlanta, the pro-tax campaign organized by the Metro Atlanta Chamber and other bidness boosters. Expect more "advocacy" ads closer to the referendum.

Serious question: You think they'll feature transit in any of these future pieces?
