Both the APD and the Mayor's office have confirmed that one of the four men robbed with an AK-47 in Castleberry Hill last week is Michael Sterling, Mayor Kasim Reed's Senior Advisor.

Sterling, a Morehouse alum, began working work Reed in October 2011. The Mayor's office said it won't be commenting on the incident. A source says another one of of victims is TI's road manager, but I couldn't confirm the info.

Last Monday night, four men were standing on the sidewalk on Peters Street when a masked man approached them with a handgun. A black SUV pulled up and three more men jumped out, one of whom was armed with an AK-47. The four victims were made to lie on the ground while the robbers went through their pockets. The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the crime.
