In an effort to paint a portrait of Your Dekalb Farmers Market, the CL photo desk spent roughly 24 hours shooting there. CL photographers Joeff Davis, Dustin Chambers and intern Brandon English worked four-hour starting at 10:15 p.m. on May 3 and finishing at 9:30 p.m. on May 4. We covered virtually every inch of the store and were given up-close looks at such places as the bananna-ripening rooms, the smokehouse, and the loading docks. We captured the bakery at full operation in the middle of the night and clean-up crews in the early morning. We documented the first customer of the day and employees checking out after a long day of work. We shot more than 1,000 pictures and edited the images down to 35 of our favorites.

Check out our gallery of Your Dekalb Farmers Market. And be sure to check out Thomas Wheatley's cover story on the massive store's past, present, and ambitious plans for the future.
