- Jewel, with blue eyes, brown hair and straight teeth (!) as June Carter Cash. Ring of Fire is currently filming around Atlanta.

— According to @AJCBuzz, "Hellooooooooo, Newman. Actor Wayne Knight was spotted at Serenbe over the weekend."
— Also over the weekend, Carolina Panthers Quarterback and Atlanta native Cam Newton was at Whiskey Blue's monthly Full Moon Party.

Filming Updates
— The Walking Dead was filming Tuesday on Rising Star Road in Coweta County as well as downtown Senoia for most of the week. Have a gander at some set pics from Senoia.
— ID Theft, starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, filmed on Upper Woolsey Rd & Hwy 20 in Hampton, GA as well as along Cheshire Bridge this week.
— Thursday, 42 (starring Harrison Ford) filmed at Luther Williams Field in Macon.
— USA's Necessary Roughness filmed at Clark Atlanta Tuesday. The show's latest season premiered Wednesday night at 10pm.
Casting Calls
— CBGB (yes, the movie with Alan Rickman and Rupert Grint!) is hosting an open casting call from 11am-8 pm June 12 at the Meddin Studios in Savannah. Check out their website for details.
— Extras were needed last Monday in Canton for the June Carter Cash movie starring Jewel - did anybody go?
