1. Multiple reports suggest at least two, possibly three, people were killed last night in a shooting at a pool party near Auburn University. Former and current players for the Auburn football team appear to be victims.
2. The best part about this AJC recap of the drunken shenanigans at the Piedmont Driving Club is the first sentence: "It's the talk of the town." Left unsaid: "Which is why it took us nearly a week to print anything about it." Not much new is uncovered from when Thomas posted about it, other than the fact no one at the club wants to talk about it.
3. An APS teacher accused of cheating was reinstated by a panel of educators. I haven't addressed this in a while, but I'm more convinced than ever that the recent AJC nationwide cheating stories were deeply flawed, and since the paper's argument is that the same methodology uncovered cheating in Atlanta ... let's just say I'm very interested in following this story as it plays out.
