First Slice: 6/20/12: A nightclub that was called Club Inferno burned down

Posted By on Wed, Jun 20, 2012 at 9:08 AM

1. A single-story building on Marietta Street in downtown was damaged by fire last night and it's a thing to write about because it used to be called Club Inferno. No one was hurt. Except from busting a gut.

2. I'm from Florida and I'm very familiar with Marco Rubio, so maybe that's why the idea of a Vice President Rubio seems particularly chilling.

3. The U.S. Senate is considering whether putting inmates in solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment. I say solitary confinement them all, let God sort 'em out. Yee haw.

4. Delivery drivers are being targeted in North Fulton.
