News First Slice 6/26/12: Tech student shoots intruder

1. An unidentified intruder — who apparently smashed through the front window of a house on Curran Street near Georgia Tech's campus — was shot in the chest by a Tech grad student who lives there. Tech Students have frequently been the victims of break-ins and robberies (and even a string of sexual assaults) in recent years.
2. The bears in Florida act an awful lot like the people in Florida. And there's video!
3. Cat-sized rats invade DeKalb County!
