On Saturday, July 7, starting at 8:30 p.m., performance artist Anya Liftig, blind-folded and bound, will attempt to climb a barricade covered in peanut butter in the Old Fourth Ward for her performance piece entitled I'm a Groucho Marxist.
Through the miracle of the interwebs, you'll be able to watch the event live from the air-conditioned comfort of your own home.
The amazing folks at Proper Medium will be live web-casting the event, and we'll be carrying streaming video on this very website. So surf by Creative Loafing on Saturday night anytime between 8:30 and 11:30 to take a peek at the event.
To read more about Liftig and her unusual work, check out this week's feature article and our Q&A with the artist. Many thanks to Flux Projects for bringing the performance to Atlanta and to Proper Medium for live-broadcasting the event. The performance itself will take place at 660 Airline Street and is free and open to the public.
