The Atlanta Opera and dance company gloATL will collaborate for two free performances this weekend. The shows take place Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21, beginning at 8:30 p.m. each evening at the Sol LeWitt sculpture “54 Columns” located in the small park at the corner of Glen Iris Drive and Highland Avenue.

The performances cap off a series of shows gloATL has performed throughout July in Atlanta’s public places including the Lindbergh MARTA station, the corner of 15th and Peachtree and the storefronts of Little Five Points. The series revisits a similar set of performances presented in the same locations last year, collectively titled Liquid Culture: a series of utopia stations.
