Two parties for Living Walls this week

Living Walls needs your love.

Living Walls, the street art conference started by Monica Campana will have two different fundraisers this week to benefit the August event, which boasts a 100 perfect female lineup this year.

On Thursday, Art Official will spotlight previous Living Walls artists, showing work for a silent auction at Midtown's Living Room in the W Hotel. Among the featured artists will be notable favorites like Doodles of California, Know Hope of Tel Aviv, LNY of New Jersey and Gaia of Baltimore, among others. For some of the participating international artists, this will be their first time showing work that is for sale in Atlanta.

All proceeds go directly back to the folks behind Living Walls, so indulge freely in the cocktails courtesy of Whiskey Park and the small bites prepared by Spice Market's kitchen.

Also, this Friday, Scoutmob and Living Walls are teaming up to throw Moonlight Rendezvous Prom at The Arts Exchange. This isn't your ordinary high school prom either, with DJ sets from Chris Daresta, Phillip Frobos and DJ Dookie Platters, a drag prom queen and king show, and Terrapin beer; Living Wall's prom night certainly beats dancing with the pizza-faced metal mouth you went to high school prom with.

As with the other event, Prom night's proceeds will help pay for all the costs associated with an international street art convention, tickets are $15 and available here through Scoutmob.

Art Official hosts Living Walls at the Living Room, W Hotel Midtown, 188 14th Street, Wed., 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Living Walls and Scoutmob present: Moonlight Rendezvous Prom at The Arts Exchange, 750 Kalb Street, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
