Between now and midnight Sunday, July 22, The Georgia Lottery is accepting film shorts based on the theme, "What would you do if you won one million dollars from the lottery?" Other rules and requirements about the shorts can be found on the contest website,
The competition is a collaborative project from the Peachtree Village International Film Festival and the Georgia Lottery. Three prizes will be awarded: first prize receives $2500, second prize receives $1500, and third prize gets $1000. The winning shorts will be announced and shown at an event during the film festival.
The Peachtree Village International Film Festival kicks off its seventh year, August 16 - 19. Submissions for the festival are already closed.
