1) Atlanta officials, particularly Kwanza Hall, are working on an ordinance to tighten regulations around vehicle booting. That could mean requiring booting companies to provide receipts, display a working contact number, or possibly do away with the practice completely. 2) Dust off the mason jar, 'cause there could be fresh corn liquor coming to a shelf near you. A Dawsonville distillery just got the green light to start cranking out some moonshine. They hope to have the first batch done in time for the 45th annual Mountain Moonshine Festival in October, because that’s a thing.
I have never felt so alien in my own country as I did today while covering the restaurant's supporters. The level of hatred, unfounded fear and misinformed people was astoundingly sad. I can't even print some of the things people said.
It was like broken records of Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and a recitation of half-truths and outright lies.
4) MIT researchers dubbed ATL’s own Hartsfield-Jackson the eighth most contagious airport in the country. You know, spreading disease and such. Good thing the CDC’s got our backs.
