— Sometimes I feel really up to date on celebrity happenings, and sometimes I feel woefully ignorant, like in the fact I didn't know Owen Wilson has a baby (The Daily Mail knows, though, and has plenty of pictures of them together here in Atlanta, a few shots of Vince Vaughn as well).
— You (we) won't be able to spy on Owen much longer, though — production on his film The Internship moves from Atlanta to San Francisco today, and will film at Stanford University next week.
— Remember word of that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that's going to film in Atlanta? It also stars Sam Worthington and Joe Manganiello, and now Mireille Enos is joining the cast as well (she played the twins in "Big Love," but if that reference is too obscure you may remember her more recently as starring in AMC's "The Killing"). David Ayer is directing the film, called Ten, which should begin production here in October.
— Chris Tucker let us know via Twitter this week (@realctucker): "I am filming my 1st stand-up movie in Atlanta Ga!!! It's official! ATL be on the lookout..filming all over.. Stay Tuned."
— There have been rumors for awhile that the reboot of the Steve McQueen and Ali Macgrawfilm Getaway, starring Selena Gomez and Ethan Hawke, would be filming in Atlanta after shooting in Bulgaria, and it would appear that CL Casting is looking for stand-ins for them, which makes it seem like things are indeed happening ... eyes peeled!
Filming Updates
— As everyone knows, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is filming here in Atlanta before moving to Hawaii, and Entertainment Weekly mentions just how tightly under wraps most information about the production is behing held (for now).
— One of the few new castings we are aware of though is Jenna Malone (playing Johanna Mason), who arrived here this week, posting a picture to her Instagram of "Hotlanta's" skyline (from what looks like Piedmont Park). Can people please stop using this moniker?
— There have been a few leaks about where to catch the production filming around town though, as OLV tells us — the Georgia World Congress Center, the Goat Farm and Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville are good bets. Hit up their site to also view the casting calls for the shoot.
— Scary Movie 5, featuring Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen has been filming around the W in Downtown as well as the Biltmore.
— And as always, remember that you can visit the excellent Walking Dead Locations site for updates on their filming (including pictures!)
