The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation has awarded five Atlanta-based arts organizations each with three-year grants of $10,000 per year. The recipients are Dashboard Co-op, Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery, gloATL, Living Walls and The Lucky Penny. The recipients were selected through a nomination, not an application, process, so the announcement came as a complete surprise to the Atlanta-based arts groups.

Creative Loafing has been proud to cover all of these organizations over the years, and it's thrilling to see them receive the large-scale support and recognition they so richly deserve.

Congratulations, all!
